Point Grey, WA, AU. Another perfect winters day in paradise. Wasn't planning on sailing but doing a few more quadrification experiments and testing out the newly built widget to measure roughness distance. Then remove a tree that Antman discovered in the middle of play zone. Arived and surprised to find Boz rigging up. Wind was better than expected and with the sun out rigged first and went for a run...not quite enought puff so switched to the experiments. Those turned out better than expected and by then the wind had picked up nicely. Rob arrived at this point. Did a few runs then realised the new widget (dual height data logging anemometers) would be ideal to make more scientific board comparisons (handy since seemed to have scored a couple of McKee boards to test). So back in to set up the kit and back out..cruised about nicely in the sun when Richo rolled up....that killed the wind and came off the plane..had to cut the cruise short anyway to go prepare pizza party for 10 pretty ladies (daughters mates) back home. The tree removal had to wait another day. For the record, the 2.2m height wind speed average for this session was 10.6kts, max gust of 15.2kts and min of 7kts. ....so I get home and turns out one of these pretty ladies is a hairy bloke (Lucky bugger)...well there is a first..had to happen sometime. (edit: now there are 2 hairy blokes) iSonic117, SvT8.6, FF18V4
