I waited around 4 hrs yesterday and got skunked so I almost didn't go today. I'm so glad I did!
No great stats but good practise.
The weed looked thick. Scary but cut through it ok. Megapowered with the big kit at times 29.6kts 2 sec.. Got the 30kts on my 1st run with the smaller gear but didn't score anymore decent gusts.
Still learning where to go. Got home in the dark..zzz

Jimmy's Beach, NSW, AU. McKee Hydro 155ltr and Atlas 120ltr - 7.5 then 6.5 Happy to get another day here again. It wasn't easy. Part of me wanted to blast down to Budgy to get better numbers, and or because sailing alone here is iffy when strong. Strange morning, grey and no wind seeming likely. So I went big board big sail, then oof! Cooked. Change to 120ltr, cooked. 20kts + Change to 6.5 and wait for it to calm down a bit, feeling a bit like a chicken while letting the honking conditions pass due to not having smaller gear with me.
Too dodgy alone me thinks. Zero people around land and water.
Mobdog busted out of work early. Then some maddog from SA in Landcover came out on wave gear, promptly and wisely swapped to slalom gear then got great runs.
