Primbee, NSW, AU

A bad ending for me today. I was finished by 8:30am after a crash at 41kts. I started early and the wind and water was great, had tried one of my weed fins and then changed to a brand new fin.  On maybe my third bear away it all went wrong, and I'm not really sure how, but it happened very quickly, maybe a weed bank???? Sitting in the water my left ankle was hurting and already swelling up. It took me a while to get back to the launch area, but that was my day done. Hopefully nothing serious.

I hope everyone that sails today enjoys the great conditions.

5.8 evo7, 46cm speed board Neil, 21cm weed fin, 19cm Tribal assy.

Fun Westerly @ Primbee. Was cranking when I arrived, so went straight for the speed board and 5.0. Some ups and downs but I think it was the right choice after all. Water level was excellent. Two big walks today, one for no wind and the second as the screw fell out of my tendon. Bob came to the rescue and fixed me up with a loaner to get back on the water. Full car park today. Gun GSR 5.0, Carbon Art W44, UFO 18.

Nice work team, awesome Pb's Gary.

Not the best news at my end. Vertical fracture in my Tibia and in a boot for 4-6 weeks. I have some more x-rays this morning so hopefully there's no more bad news.

See you all soon.
