Another one of those greatest days ever with a few pb's.  Arrived with Sam just after 6 to catch the end of the front.  It started out 15 - 20 knots but by the time we rigged and got on the water it picked up to 18 - 23 knots.

The water was glass flat but the wind wasn't strong enough for isonic 50 speed board.  It wasn't the ideal sw direction at alpha channel and the speed was done in the opposite direction coming back to shore but happy with pb for 89 falcon.  This board is amazing and the 2nd ride on the 2009 ka koncept 5.8m and it is a dream to sail.

I decided to go for an hour with the flat water and it paid off.

Great to see a good turnout and good to see Chris Reiffel back on the water.

 Goolwa Alpha channel - 18 - 23 knot s - s/w - Fanatic falcon 89, 5.8m koncept and 31cm sl7

Sam used Fanatic 91, 6.2m loft blade and 31cm sl7.

Thanks guys.

Kimba - The wind was very square and when i did my hour it was running back and forth along the bank and had some runs to the bank further down from the launch area.  I wasn't planning on going for the hour or distance but was in the zone and kept cruising.  I think with a 20 - 25 knot south to southwesterly it would be even better.  The alphas were out in the middle as you couldn't cut near the bank like usual.

See you soonLaughing
