The last session at milang for a while until we get some rain.  Another after work session with Sam.  Arrived to see a 20 - 25 knot south to south easterly - the wind looked strong and the water flat.  We decided to ride speed boards.  On Sam's 1st run he hit something and marked his fin.  I had a couple of runs along the troughs and then BANG!!! I hit something and badly damaged my sl7 25cm speed finYell - split the front wide open (see pic following).

After this i was tentative and waiting the whole session to hit something.  I managed some 36 knot runs on the damaged fin.  Sam the crazy bugger was doing speed runs towards the shore in flat and shallow water less then knee deep.  I was only doing runs away from the shallow water.  On the last run Sam hit into concrete sitting just below the surface and damaged his fin badly and now has a hole in the bottom of his f2 xs missile.  Unbelievable how shallow it is.

Always good to get wet even with the heartache.

Trackpoint 2 sec - 36.568 - 10 sec avg - 34.669.

Milang - 20 - 25 knot south the south easterly

Isonic 50, 5.8m koncept and 25cm sl7 (damaged - Sam to repair)

Sam - F2 xs missile (to be repaired) - 6.2m loft blade and 25cm sl7 (to be repaired)

Bloody hell carl cant believe how much you guys get out.... cant wait till i can drive my self lol. Milang isn't looking too flash at the moment the amount of stuff your all hitting, stick to the channels at goolwa and murray mouth i reckon, boggy too of course.

bad luck for your guys with fins and boards etc. sure same will just fix it with "kneed it" like he always does. I reckon he would almost try repairing sails with it if he had a shot, what doesn't it fix for him. Ah well good luck, trust me the old man knows what repairing boards is like, and i've only recently been sanding all our fins with wet and dry from some of the dings at goolwa coming to close to shore.

Hoping to get out very soon. Got a full set of 2008 Koncepts (5.0, 5.8 and 6.6) now which are crying out for some use ha ha. Now mum won't know how many i got lol Wink. seya soon

Cheers, Hamish
