My last day at the Pit. A nice 20 knot S'Easter so we used the east bank. A bit too broad to get any real quick speeds but a really really fun day. Started out on my RSR 6.7 and Falcon 90 then changed down to 5.8 Koncept and Drops slalom. No peak pb's but a very memorable day nonetheless. If only cause I knocked Hardie off for the day Tongue out What might not have been though, I got a big case of the shivers after my morning session and almost packed up after that and called it a day. A bit of sitting around in a warm car with a heater soon sorted me though and I went out for an awesome afternoon session and came away with a near pb distance combining morning and arvo. 4 days sailing at the Pit and 3 pb's. Pretty happy with that lot Laughing

Was it a short session coz of the cold weather? It was bloody freezing at Narrabeen Lake. Felt like the middle of winter. That, the rain plus the lack of wind made a bleak day.

Good one, Andrew. Lookin' good  on that video...Cool

Karl - short because wind died & came back as I de-rigged.

Not cold at all on the water - a very nice 20deg water temp.

For me it is only 10-15 minutes extra drive from Boundary Rd to Botany vs Lake Dangerous (cold, short runs, hills....)

Clean, clear, sea temp, long runs & always someone to sail with.

I try Narrabeen a couple of times a year just to reassure myself
