Swan bay today but the wind once agian never really did what it was ment to. Had the pleasure of sailing with pete from the pit crew today, always a laugh. keep watching this place its gunna produce.

Another tough day at the office/ Was great catching up with Pete Pit crew and his muffins. Forecast just didn't eventuate and we had to listen to Pete's rude and risque jokes. Eventually had a short squirt of 20 knt so we all went exploring swan Bay N. This place has good potential but on the last few visits the wind has been strangely absent..

Jacques showing why he is Geelong's number one chick magnet.

 

Waiting for wind. Red catching up on some tabloid scuttlebutt. Views of the loooong 4km+ run to the north, with little to interupt a good NW wind. A similar run goes to the south of the jetty also.

 

Nice grassy rigging area, picnic table and even public loos! But I couldn't work out why both Red and Jacques had their names and mobile numbers on the inside of the door? Tongue out

Great to catch up again though guys!

Jacques - the shutter on my camera seemed to be too slow - the photos were just a blurr!

But here's the one Red took before I, ahem, took off. It gives a view of the run to the south and lots of flat water - but probably only 12 knots or so of wind at that stage.
