Early low tide but unfortunately I only saw the tail end of it 'You snooze - You loose'!. Today's objective was to get used to my new Futura 93 so rigged 6.6 Koncept and took the Rocket first to test the conditions, as I took to the water it already dropped off considerably. Only some occasional runs on the plane, so decided to add the 7.5 V8 to the mix which got me going ok for cruising speed for most of the day, but the tide came in very fast. High tide when it picked up again around lunch time, time for the Futura 93 and the 6.6 Koncept. Akin to a ride on a Bronco over the chop, I can't wait to get that beast on flat water in a good wind. Managed a nice slam gybe too in confined space between sandbars, unfortunately not enough to beat my Alpha PB.
