Was a strange session for me. Felt underpowered for half of it yet others easily planing on a metre smaller. Doing something seriously wrong. Fun afternoon with Jerry, Juergen and Stephen.

Elwood, VIC, AU, great afternoon session at Elwood. Big sail and took both the  Rocket and the JP XciteRide and swapped between them. Jman, Evan and Stephen joined later. Did most sailing with a seat harness, which took a while to get used to, especially the long harness lines. Best speed would have been the last run with the Rocket.

Quick sail after work with some of the crew. Its great working at Port Melbourne only 15mins from Elwood. My knees are still playing up though. They seem to fin for jumping but not good for pushing down on the fin for speed or on the rail for wave riding or gybing.

Impressive speeds over all and distance Jerry!

 

Cheers also for the pointers. In the end I think it helped a little. Also tightened up my foot straps which felt much better. Weird day for me though.... guess I'm just in one of the ruts or something.

One more run would have done the trick over 100k. Nevermind, next time. I'm still a bit sore, I'm getting old I think. Wink

Looks the Futura and the RS Slalom are a good combination Steve. Good speed there. Will try my Futura93 with my Ka Koncept 6.6 next time in a bit more wind.
