Melville Beach, WA, AU

94 & 76 iSonic, 6.5 O/D, 34 & 32 Choco

Enjoyable sail in a good seabreeze with a number of the crew.

Melville, RRD V4 98 / 114, RI 7.8, 40 canefire, Short Late sail to clear the head. The 98 was too small for the gusty conditions but I was keen to try it out. This will be a rocket when we finally get some wind. The 114 continues to impress with its control and gybing.

6M T4 & 94 Exocet Cross then 84 Exocet Cross with FW Weedie

Like bees to the honeypot, the boys were eager to assist when they saw the sail still had packing in it - Thanks guysWink

Also had a go on Nelson's pro edition but although it was much lighter to ride, I still prefer my "not so pro edition"Surprised

Had a great sail- so nice to get a decent breezeLaughing

Exocet Cross 84L (old model) with 7.0M T-bird & 34 EX Vector

Changed to the 94L PE with the 34 Vector but it was not gripping & I had a couple of spin-outsSurprised

Changed to a 36 Choco & the grip was good but it felt slowerFrown

Eventually tried the 30cm LE & was all goodLaughing

Could have changed down to a 6.5M but was too lazy.

Had a go on Darryl's 98L X-fire but with the footstraps soooo big it was hard to really push it.

The board sailed really flat but felt way different to what I'm used to.

The volume distribution seems perfect & was very floaty.
