When I took my board out of the board bag I discovered a big hole in the deck. I have no idea how that had happened, but a quick bodge job with knead-It made the board at least sailable. For sail size I had to choose between a 7.0 or a 5.5, I decided to be brave and go for the 7.0, but this one turned out to be a bit of a handful once on the water. A broken batten forced me (and gave me the excuse) to to rig down to the 5.5. That was much better. There was plenty of wind and it was hairy at times, but good fun. I didn't want to push my luck in these conditions, so when I started to feel tired I called it quits. I may have to look for a 6.2.
