Inverloch speed invitational, lighter winds at low tide, then got a bit crazy as the tide came in. Used 6.7 and 5.7 sabers. 3rd place in division B :-)

It was the westerly sling shot speed run. Lot of concentration to do it right but was great when you got going.
Best runs early but with a westerly meant you had to walk upwind to the launching spot loosing too much time before the tide came in.

Day 2 of the ISI.
Even more sailors on the water today. 22 in the comp and another 10 or so just cruising around. Missed the best part of the with the tides due to facilitating registrations, but certainly didnt miss the wind. It really came in late, went home to grab my wave gear to have a blast around (i was no chance to win the comp with Spotty, Ado, Daffy & Kato all getting the best condidtions early) but didnt end up using this gear as people needed results downloaded.

1st go with 6.6 Koyote. 110 Cross. Held well even in the 30 knot squalls.
Last run ended with a broken boom . All my Wally experience had the head re-attached with some almost tidy knots.

GEAR: CA FR 77, C3 Venom 44, KA KONCEPT 6.6
DETAILS: A big week finally caught up with me...couldn't get it together, even though the wind was up...had a few nice runs on the new Koncept...very smooth and sweet sail.
When the wind came in I thought it'd be nice to get onto the smaller CA fr 63.....but I dont think Kato likes sharing toys!!!
