After work blast  have'nt  sailed in this much wind for a long time, first real hit out for the TR9 6.3 felt real sweet accelerates real hard and is so comfortable through the chop, board felt abit flighty in the big gusts but still performed nicely. Lake Bonney gusts 30knts   Exocet RS2  30cm  TR9-6.3m

Beachport, Surf Beach, S 16 to 18 some times swinging SW, cross on from the right and a big swell running,

JP 92 freestyle wave, 5.0 Ezzy wave, 30 select weedy,

had a blast in the surf after work, was a sweet session, was big close outs out the back so has to do chicken gybe in front of them most time, luckily i made them all as I had my good KA race mast in.

Sorry Geoff and Norm I didn;t get out the lake and sail with you but after the lake all weekend I just needed a change,

08-01-13 Lake George-WSW 9-18 knots-Mistral 68 wide-Loft Blade 7m-Lessacher Duo Weed 36cm

Still a bit sore from Sunday's sail. Had in mind a 200km day. Wind was light for 7m but chucked on big weed fin. Could really feel the drag in comparison to 32cm Duo I used on Sunday with 7m that day. Was pissing around glugging, couldn't have dropped the sail as no uphaul.Wind did kick in so made life easier for my sore hands again from Sunday's sail. Lastly mast track slipped all way forward early in session and couldn't be bothered to change as gybing was dead easy.

Dramatic strong change caught me out on 7m with a few km's short on 200 day.  Ah well another time:-)

My peak speed was down-winder, the left to right track in picture.

Lake George, SA, AU

6.8m Switchblade in the morning until it got too strong then sailed the afternoon till late on the 5.1 Blade and ISonic 94. Select S weedie

My best session of the LG trip by far. Geoff and myself were burning it up - well for us old fellas anyway. Nice to get over 30 Knot av again.
