And I thought swan bay was windy yesterday! Bloody hell. Super high tide plus a surge had the water into the carpark and we struggled to find somewhere that was flat.. Was great to sail with Jacques, Spotty and Daffy in their preperation for the uncoming Luderitz event.

Swan Bay,

Solid wind today, and massive tide with heaps of water, no real flat water, sailed with Daffy, Spotty, Tony and as always Red. Watched Spotty hooking over some crazy chop for some impressive peaks, crazy man. Good day today to just sail and get fitter happy to clock up those k's today in what was mostly 30+ knots all day.

The Crew all started early today. Unfortunately I had to work. I finished early and triead a quick session at Point Henry. It was gusting 45 and the waves were 2 ft high and 2ft apart. I gave up after a few attemped runs and headed to Swan Bay where everyone else was. The tide had cranked in so speeds were down by then. First sail on the Mistral 95 (55cm wide) and it was great. I need to get a weed fin to suit it as the upright 30 cm race fin was collecting weed constantly. It was great to see the whole \"Luderitz\" team there at once.
