Swan Bay... Jacques rang me in the morning " flatest ive ever seen Swan Bay.. wind is 30+, ive already done 42.. when are you coming down?".  Had some things to do so hurried as much as I could and got down there to see an angry swan bay. Wind was howling. Rigged a Koncept 5.0m and got out the CA44 ready for some fun. Tony Wynhoven rigged a 5.8 (which means it was windy) and Dale rigged anothener 5.0m.  We all got into our wetties and BLAM!... wind switched off...35 knots to 0 in 2 mins. Unbelievable! Sat around and consulted the forecasts. Eventually came in again , looked like it was going to be good so rigged Koncept 5.7m. Got out and first run broke harnesses line! bugger! Eventually wind was 12-15knots so stoked to do such good speeds on 5.7m..

Another good day at swan bay until the wind just stopped, 35 to 0 in no time. a NM PB at swanbay, If that wind had of stayed in when everyone turned up i think we would have cemented our spot on the top of the ladder this month...... Our time will come....

great to see so many out, most conneware boys ive seen for a few years and on a Monday. does anyone work on windy days?

congrats boys on the good speeds pitty the wind didn't hold for the day.

wind on and off as stated. rigged 5.0 then wind went to nothing, came back a bit so rigged 7.5m .too lazy to change boards so used ca50 speed with 25 weedy.

Sail was good but not powered up enough for small board and fin. especially in lulls

didn't relise this so much until later i used bones 122 futura with 30 weedy in about 5 knts less wind with almost as fast speeds and alphas.

thanks bones nice board, comfortable and fast.

would have done better on isonic 94 or 111 with this sail.

at least now i relise speed board is only good for really powered up conditions but does take a 7.5m easy enough.
