Yamba, NSW, AU

Wow what a spot & we got wind very flat along the wall but very very gusty coming over land from Iluka.

Got slamed on a huge gust ribs are a bit sore but ok tom should be better with 30kts one the way.

Bit of a iffy spot for my small speed board but might try it tom if we get the 30kts.

Yamba, NSW, AU

on holidays and the forecast looked good for yamba so decided to head south.

started with the 7 but wind just keeped building so chnaged down to the 6.3  and speed board but didnt go any faster too gusty.

changed back to the 97 but tide was gone by then which made it too choppy.

tide and wind look better tom.

Great sail with Glynn,Phil and RayCool

Gear IS97,Blade 7,6.3, Viper 36 and couple runs on the speed board.

Maroochydore, QLD, AU. Finally tried the sandbank up from the pool, wind readings at maroochy airport said gusts uo to 19 kts, unfortunately that only equates to 6-12 kts here. Rigged 7.8loft on 108JP hoping it might pick up, 10 mins later back in for JP130, after 2 frustrating hrs off short underpowered runs followed by a lot of chugging gave up on 7.8 & went out on 8.5 switchblade, at least i could planing 1/2 the time. With decent wind this bank will work well either direction with wind between E to N, sailed 1.30-5pm, good long window between low tide to high tide, bank is steep & 4ft high at low tide

Wellington Point, QLD, AU

91ltr, 7mtr sail, 29 BP S fin

Had a nice sail, forgot the 112ltr board, would have been better then the 91 as it was a pretty light NNE 15 to 20 knots.

Sean and I were chatting just off the bank closest to the car park and while we were standing in the water we both heard this loud crash!!!!! About 2 feet away from us this lipton tea bag hit the water, scaring the absolute xhit out of me! another 2 feet closer and either sean or myself would have been collected, which im sure wouldn't have been interesting...

Great tracks , imagine how good it would have been when the wall was built and not all fallen away , theres some great photos in the pub up the hill that show how big the wall was , it had a train track running to the end of it , but that was along time ago
