Great fun at swan Bay Today   . It was great to finally get a good go on the F2. Went out with 5.1 for the first time, then broke batten after about 15mins :(  Then rigged 5.5 wave sail, not enough power. Then rigged 6.0 all good, overpowered most of the time but still great fun. Sailed with Mike, Phil, & Rowan.

Very Square wind today aroung 25 to 30 with the ocassional good gust, only did about 4 runs on the speed gear then spent the rest of the day on my Slalom board and mXr speed weed 26, got plenty of runs on the 92 of runs over 40 10 second and peaked at 42.8. Great fun heaps of people there, 50 plus on the course, kites, freestylers and wave sailors..... kaos at times with a few moments of ........ at flat biscut down the run.

Heard later from someone that they heard some free style guys bragging that they were taken off in front of the speed wankers on purpose.... disapointing if thats true. Not sure they would be that keen on someoone hitting them at 80kph. Shame there is that kind of mind set around our sport.

Fun day at Sandy Point. Gust south westerly so it was very tight. Good slalom conditions.. not really windy enough or broad enough for good speeds. I used the 2013 5.8 Koncept as my 2014 is still with Spotty at Luderitz. Had some crazy near misses as the ther was at least 50 sailors on the inlet. No casualties though... Swapped to the 47 Mistral speed half way through and it felt HUGE after usint the 41 at Ludz all the time... Thanks to Jaques for driving... :-)
