The forecast promised much, but didn't deliver this afternoon. 10-15 Knts dead onshore. Tried a 6.4 and 118L slalom combo, nearly had to swim it back. Rigged the 7.5 Ezzy and Starboard Formula 155 and managed to pump onto the plane and stay there. Still beats being at work.

ATM I'm fat, unfit and out of practice, went out and the wind dropped, very frustrating and nearly gave it away but Jason turned up. Told him to rig big, sorry mate EmbarassedLaughing

But it came good with lots of holes but an ejoyable sail in the end but I couldn't catch Jas comming in Cool

Off to work now Cry

Just not quite enough wind to have any power going broad but lovely sail anyway.  Darkness won out at the end.

Nice little sail with Bob, good to catch up been a while. Probably rigged to big again although the wind was a bit up and down. 7.8 switchblade, 110 JP excite ride.

Hopefully wind hangs around a few days might get the carbon art out for a strap.Cool

Port Douglas, QLD, AU Got to the beach for happy hr to try to improve on my last poor attempt of a sail.wind was average but it was supposed to come in nice  later in the arvo..Rigged 6.6m north on 101 Falcon and small fin for me,a 38cm .In anticipation of a good breeze, spent the first 2hrs chasing the wind all over the bay while it made up its mind on weather to start cranking or not,was a bit frustrating at times..Wind  came in solid at about 5 o'clock and i had one of the best sessions for the year..Wind blew till dark so i sailed till dark..Good fun sailing a choppy sea and a good breeze..Ed

WhoooHooo, Hollywoods back in town. Great effort mate. Young Jason had the better of us last weekend too mate. Im thinking there will be be a few sickies on Thursday - GI might just be the go. I think Freddy and Fast Ed were looking seriously at heading over.

Nice speed Firie, but without a stinger suit you may have to change your stance to a more upright one to stop the sack from hitting the water.

Hey Ray, this year I've both eyes fixed, teeth fixed, now just have to get the wrinkles out of said sack and I'll be a new man Laughing

You'll need an industrial laundry press for that Bob Wink

PS - nice peak too.
