Lucky to get a couple 38s on the screen but the rest of the times were a bit slow.

Lake George, SA, AU

Up at 4am for a road trip to LG. On the water by 8.30, but it was mental windy with huge heavy rain squalls. Tried to make the most of it, but could not get comfortable.

Came in, had a break, re-grouped, and re-rigged.

Went back out with the NCX 6m on the W54 with 23 Delta Speed Weed and it rocked!!! This combo gave me the control and comfort I needed to go searching for flatter water - which I never found.

Off the water by 4pm for the drive home.

Nice to catch up with Geoff, Chris and Norm who are camping out there for a few days.

Good catch up day with carl. He kicked my butt  in the first session today. In was on the wrong fin and it would spin out as soon as it got to 34 knots every time :-( same fin has done a 42 at George on the falcon slalom go figure. Anyway went out on a different fin for the rest of the day and managed to get some numbers. Used 6.2 blade and 95 falcon with 35 fin

Boggy Lake, SA, AU - 20 to 30 with some stronger gusts.

Great day with a good turnout.  Rigged small for forecast and the wind took a while to appear.  Started out very gusty and gutless.  Managed a 34.9 in a short squirt on the way up the top with a 33.2  10 sec.  The wind started out more west and by the time we made our way up the top swung a little more south west.  The top corner ended up being really good but hard to time a gust and flat water.  Soon had a 37.18 on the screen and a 35.4 - 10 second.  Managed a few more 36's and 34 10 second runs.

Unfortunately Sam worked out weed fins don't work real well with no weed.  Headed back to shore and found out it was late and i had be out for tea.  Sam changed his fin and went back out for a second sesh.  Well done on the numbers Sam and great to have another powered up sesh with youCool.

GREAT WAY TO START 2014 AND BRING ON LAKE GEORGECoolSmile....
