Pelican Point, WA, AU

Gusty little session out of PP. An decent hour and maybe PB the aim, but a couple of dropped gybes, a sailor rescue in the middle of the river, a father and sons trolling off their boat with the longest length of fishing line ever (and not wanting a repeat of last year's snagged windsurfer incident), and a bottom cam that destroyed it self (was no longer on the sail when I de-rigged !!?) put paid to that.

Beats working though.

Melville, unexpected wind after work! Used the WA speed gear again-

7.8m MSL137 CLSL2-38

Wicked fun. Some sweet gusts to get some crazy hover going, and not far off my PBs for that board.

Lancelin. Not much wind but plenty of swell - around 3/4 mast high with maybe some bigger sets. Almost dumped my 8.0m in Main Break which would have been hideous! There wouldn't have been much left of it I don't suppose.

Cruised upwind for a bit and had some runs back down. It's incredibly rough out there - nothing at all like Port Beach and very hard to go fast.

Manta 59, Warp 8.0, weedy.

Top numbers on the big girl mate!

Sam and Evets, the Mxr fins are a great wide base style fin and very cheap Compared to other fins. Well made and come with a great fin cover. I have several including a 26 weed and this is very good as well on The m55.

This board m91 really needs a stiff 30 (as Chris recommended) how ever all the fins above worked.

the 24 mxr felt the best across(in flat water) and off the wind (very stable) the 28 falcon gave me the peak but that was more a fluke

as the peak was dead square to the wind and not a bare off, just a rogue bullet that may have nudged 25ish kn.

the 32 volt was nice at the start before the wind picked up- on the wind up but a little large off the wind.

Both the 28 volt and 28falcon where nice off the wind but too small up wind.
