Planned to head out and do a decent hour with the great breeze...melville to point walter, back to melville, back to Pt walter and as I came out of the jibe, flipped the rig, pulled on the boom only to find it had parted with the rig..... thanks to fudge for driving over to pick me up

Mistral 91, Tr8 5.9, C3 32 sting II

 

Marginal wind for up here so decided to go cruising. Same rig as yesterday (10 knots less windYell). Much more comfy.

Had a challenge to see what the Sting II 32 could do. Both on the same fin all day. Loads of fun and games.

Shark Bay TR9 6.3,68w Mistral,32 sting2 Today was the 32sting 2 fin challenge.. Fun day blasting around. Tom tuned his gear perfect an was great to watch an follow around. His board looking like it just hovered over the water effortlessly. Great day alround with more learning on the tuning side of things. Such a enjoyable place to sail. Well Done to Tom for the challenge as it ended in 3 all. So even at the end of the day..

So the good news is that i know its 5km from melville to the end of the sand bar at Pt Walter! Also if anyone wants to go crabbing let me know as my feet have a talent for finding them ;-)
