flat water at wello. first sail for two weeks.

Nice day… got some great footage of the harness mount GoPro where initially I thought it would be crap… will share once edited.
Tomorrow's forcast looks better! :)

Worked out I need shorter harness lines… I actually did 20km… furthers I’ve gone in freaking ages!!
Thought I think to run to Manly and back helped too ;)

NE side, wind N to NE was around 18 ~ 20 knts at times, First Time Out with the new NP Evo.6 - 7.0 m, Wow this sail is rock solid and very easy rotation through the jibes. Very Happy with the Sail & results, now I need to focuss on my boom position and mast position to get balance correct and enhance the power from the Sail.

GPS turned off again but lucky save data to card and some of my tracks picked up.

Nice conditions at first, but later the wind went north and was struggling to get into wello for a while. Eventually picked up but gusty with confused chop making it hard. Tried Lota but weed was driving me crazy - tide just not low enough to stop the weed flowing over the channel.

Great first sail at LG, not the cranking wind we came here for but still a great sail BP weed was awesome comfortable on it straight away.

A windy day - definately not done enough time on the water to handle the rough conditions at Redcliffe.. a good challenge and nice to only have a 5 min drive to the water..
