3371 days ago Another nice day at the lake.
It didn't look that windy, depite our optimism. So I went out on the IS86 slalom board, 28cm Lessacher LW Duo 30 and 2014 5.8m KA Koncept.
I had a good measure of the settings I had on the sail because it felt MAGIC!
Had a play at some speed runs but it was very fluky and gusty. Easy to drive deep downwind over the corrugated chop though. That was fun! 
Pretty good peak speed for me on the slalom board with a big fin! Happy with that.
Went for NM on Starboard tack down the middle of the lake over the chop. That was fun too!
Decided I might a well continue into a 1Hr and that was going well until I half dropped a Gybe and got stuck in the mud and weed.  I was halfway in so I decided to finish it anyway. Still OK until the last 15 mins when the wind eased back. Happy with the results considering that though.
It's kind of wierd that you can get around 30 knots on a bean reach in the gusts but when I ran down the middle of the lake I was hardly going much faster off the wind. I recon the wind was 18-20, gusting 22-25 occiasionally.
