3256 days ago Kalmus, Cape Cod. Two sessions in the morning and afternoon, with some work in between. Lovely SSW wind. Mostly Skate 110, Idol 5.6, except for a few runs on the XFire 90 with a BPF WeedSpeed 28. The fin felt quite solid, but provided very little lift, and had limited upwind ability - a bit small for the conditions, but it was too shallow (for my taste) to use pointer fins. The Idol always feels very racey on the FS and FSW boards, and sails well enough on the XFire, but it does seem to be slower than freerace and speed sails. No real surprise.
