A bit reluctant to go out on the GC in a westerly but ended up with quite a good session with some nice gusts and nice runs along the sandbank. The usual locals were out with Glynn, John and Jarreau making a very worthwhile trip up from Brisbane. My 7m blade handled the gusts so nice it might become my favourite!!

Gusty  5 to 25 kts NNW. A challenging but fun sail with Glynn, Jarreau, Phil, Macro, Trimmer and Hanu. The water was great, a good run behind the bank, ut the wind was very gusty. Was very uncomfortable at first, but sorted out the harness line position, boom height and changed booties to something that gripped the board and felt much better. Did a bit of tail walking in the big gusts. Phil says that when you have to bear away. A good session

1st sail in awhile and nothing better than an on/off westerly @ a new location Laughing. Took the one sail only option today so i was in a midrange gear compared to the wind with a floaty board in SHARK channel. LOL.

Nice meeting the Goldy boys, they have some talent and good sailors on their team.

Fantastic day it was a big call whether or not too go but when the wind picked up from the NW we made the call to go down the Seaway spit.

Was gusty at times but I recon we got the best day ever for this spot.

Good crew out thanks Jarreau for coming with me and for the big feed of fish n chips after sailing.

JP112 Loft7 BP WS42 PB for this board woo hoo.
