Went down to Fangy's and sailed on the QEII, with a 3.9m sail, and the decrepitsupermassivedeltoid fin today. I got into the harness WOHOO! It was not very windy and really slow, but a great day for experimenting with steering, weight placement and using the harness. I managed to sail no handed, which was really cool and exciting! I can't wait until we get some stronger wind so I can go faster, and use the harness properly. I am pleased to report that I didn't break anything except Daddy's ego.... Cool

Albany, WA, AU jp 121 .101 ,np rss 7.8 ,delta 24 . Struggled on the 121 board.  So out came the 101 ltr board. Felt more suitable to the conditions but still managed to have a few good spills !! Digested some salt water resulting in a bit of food for the fish. Joined later by young Michael. An enjoyable afternoon sail none the less Smile

Nice sessions both of you, but ATD, (Fifi) my memory (no longer reliable), of that sail says it's a 3.7 not a 3.9.

Memory has indeed worked this time Cap'n. My fault, luff is 3.90 but sail is, in fact 3.7.

Fangy, Bugs and B were here a short time ago, and expressed interest in having ATD and the 3.7 on their facebook page. That 3.7 is probably the only sail left from the very first bacth of Avalon Sail Co wave sails, (It would have to be 20 years old). I guess Fifi wouldn't be adverse to a bit more exposure?
