Albany unfortunately tide so low went over handle bars after hitting weed with 23cm 48 degree rake fin which psyched me our and couldn't fit my 19cm delta so called it. Lost my $600 prescription sunnies in the stack. Also hooked in on every alpha attempt.

Grovel in the smooth with fin, if I said I was underpowered, it wouldn't be an exageration!

Used the bigest stuff and it still wasn't enough.

However there was plenty of smooth, kilometres of it.

But there are some thick weed burgs developing that are very hard to tell apart from the insubstantial fake burgs. (hint if a pelicans standing on it, there's a good chance it isn't fake). Also there's signs of rope weed developing.

Venturing out there with less than 55deg rake could lead to a very sudden stop.

I was sure the pixie said I had a 22, in fact I heard 21s and 22s a few times, but there's only a few 19s in it's data.

2s 19.788, 5x10 16.307, 1hr 5.491, alpha 10.008, NM 8.35, dist 12.668

Wore it on my arm in the new H2O Amphix pouch, as everybody else has said it's very comfortable and works well, and no accidental activation although the conditions were very benign.

Shane!! great PBs mate, I can see you're well on the way to being an alpha king

Hardie don't tell me you didn't sort you fins out before you left?

Delta's have to be hand fitted to each individual board they go in, can take hours to get it right.

Yes lucky no broken bones, was lining up to be my fastest run of the day, until I hit that clump of weed.  The sunglasses are easily replaceable.  Windsurfing was fab until the crash.  Its a magic place the old Albany.  Funny how sailing a new board (Tabou Manta 59) changes the dynamics of the carve gybe, and I re-hooked in about 8 times while trying alphas, gonna have to sort that out tomo if I get the chance.  Might sail earlier if windy, as tide will  be higher in the morning.  Sail was Tr-9 6,3m
