Matt D (30238km):  3 categories    Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Funny Day today! lots of wind when I got there and went out with CA 100L and 6.6 and had a few semi powered runs! Wind then Died and it rained for the next few hours just about everyone went home, tried to sail with the Bic and the 8.6m but not enough wind for it! Glynn for the Morton Bay Mob turned up and so did the wind! Sailed for almost for a hour with the CA 117 and 7.3m loft. Lots out early Micky, Frothie, Byron, Andrew and Hugh. Johnny, Sue and Tibor turn up after the wind had dropped Glynn, Wayno, Tibor, Bruce, Steve and Troy for the afternoon session.

Wayno (16997km):  Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU one of those days where not much goes right. Got there at 3pm and it looked windy so I rigged the 6.0 HSM GPS + CA SL55 + 29 cm weedie. Put the long wetsuit on and something bit me on the knee, pulled wetsuit down and found a bloody big black ant having a chew, so it died a squashy death. Got on the water at 3.45pm and first run I knew I shoulda been on the 6.6 instead of the 6.0. Very gusty wind going from 10-25 knots, the 25 part was OK but the 10 was shite. Spent a lot of time struggling to plane or even do a water start. Some weird wind today or what? Matty, Tibi, Bruce, Glynn from Qld and later Troy out with varying degrees of success. Oh well, beats doing nothing.

Troy Botting (2959km):  3 categories    Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Bic Techno 115Ltr + 50deg, 30 weedie with 6.3mtr Gun Sail. Sounds like I missed the best conditions, I was pretty much out there by myself. Spent a lot of time standing upright waiting for gusts which I could do on that board, it was near a boat for me after using the FF 89Ltr for a while. I drove home with the GPS on (derrr idiot). Thanks Matt for fixing my results for me, may have looked a little suss posting 43knots

Mehore (24122km):  3 categories Frothies Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU Thanks Captain for fixing my files after leaving my GPS on, on my way home. Should have got there earlier and should of hung round longer haaa. Wind is just so unpredictable! Just made it accross to the sandbar when wind backed, walked up high waiting for the wind to come in which never really did. Southerly 10/18 few powered runs then it swung sw/wsw same strength and had a couple more runs then eventually died. Came in and stood round in the rain hoping it would come back in and wrapped up when sue started rigging a 7.7. 6.6 Koncept 92 Patrik 31BP50DSW. Few hours later it come threw again solid and missed out. TT. Go Marauders!!
