PortCoogee, Futura 114, NNCX 6.5, Carp 34, Wind dropped instead of freshening, Still nice cruise, Again no wind up at woodies, better round 500m of the beach in the middle of the bay. Too far out and it backed off again. Suprised at the speeds, didnt think i got a 30 today :)

Waited for the wind to settle down and the masses to thin out.  Not quite an hour of sailing, but good enough.

Made the summer challenge - Pt Resolution in one port tack!

Good to catch up with the crew for that evening beverage and interesting / entertaining conversations.

RRD Firestorm 120L with 7.0M NCX & 40 MFC

Probably under finned, definately under powered but what do you do when you have new gear to try Laughing

Rigged the sail on a Powerex 460 but the settings didn't seem right, way too much outhaul which killed the bottom end.

Played with the outhaul & eventually got it to a reasonable point but the sail felt slow unless in a decent gust, not many of those today Frown

Later on the beach the rigging guru suggested more downhaul which made the bottom look good but the top too floppy, will try that tomorrow hopefully.

All in all not a bad sail although very tired from van repairs all day Cry
