Yeah great arvo session at VP with all the guys. Good to catch up and see Kev back on the water.
Gear: Exocet Warp 90L, Severne Gator 6.0 and 35 BP fin. Bigger fin helped as was a bit quiet to start with, usually use the 30.

8th sailing day straight. The best wind by far. The main bank was working the whole length. Tried for speed, naughty and alpha. Now totally stuffed. Should have been the 2nd day not the last.

Last day at Burrum was windy - only problem is I left my smaller board in BNE cause the forcast on Tuesday said that it was 10 to 15 all week! So only brought the Gecko. Lesson learnt - always take everything.
With that said prety happy with 29.41 on a freeride board with a dirty big 38cm freeride fin. Was on my final run in looking for a NM on the last run but got a little close to the sandbank - no broken gear luckily - little damage to me and of course the NM was screwed!!
This has been my first windsurfing regatta (sailed boat regattas heaps when I was younger) and have had a blast. Didn't get in the way too much - however giving way on a starboard tack only to have the guys on port bear away with a gust made it interresting on occasion. Had to second guess sometimes and I know I took right away off one guy this arvo (sorry Capt!!!!)
I will definatly be back next year and hopefully before than as well!!
