Bit underdone today on i97, 7.0m OD and BPR375. Forecast was a lot more threatening than arrived, but still got a big day's sailing in. Maiden voyage of the isonic, and got some adjusting to do - it rides different to the manta, so gonna take a few runs to get used to it. But glad to just get it wet today.
So many people sailing Bog today, there was almost nowhere to park when I left. Good to see the fever is still strong, even as our Summer season winds up. Thinks the lads went over to the port today, maybe they found some better wind.

Got there to find Carl rigging on the lawn. Had a port with Carl while we waited for Tricky and co to arrive. I headed out for a tester and found the line out to the 3 mile was ok today. Settled in for the hour and was pleased. Tricky,Carl,Jason and Sam joined in the fun. Only had a 33 on the GPS so came in for a board change to the Missile and headed out to find some extra speed on the flat. Good choice and improved the alpha as well. The forecast was a bit under what we were expecting but slitt happy with what we got
Wound down with the guys with a couple of beers and chat. Thanks for the plonk and beer Carl and Richard. And good to see you Carl.

The most frustrating day I have had for a long time. Left the big sail home thinking wouldn't need it as the forecast was for 20 + no where near that and very up and down. Very little downhaul and the second cam kept popping off. As usual wind filled in just as I was leaving @ 5:00.
Note to self, always take everything

2966 days ago Great to get out after no wind the last few weekends. Arrived at Stansbury to a decent breeze. Hoppy soon turned up followed later by Tricky and his son Jason. Decided on the 5.6 and Patrik 87 and the trusty Black Project weedy 31. The wind started out okay and soon picked up nicely. Decided on getting an hour done and the wind was now solid so managed a few nice bearaways. Had alot of fun cruising around with Hoppy and Tricky - thanks for the company and after sesh beers and a chat.
Hope to catch up with you guys again very soon ...
Stansbury - 15 to 20 knots.

2966 days ago Got to boggy late, heaps of people there with bugger all wind... was on the 7 mtr chugging around on the 110 Isonic with a 38 fin (didnt have a bigger sail, love shit forecasts).
Slow peak did a few k's frustrating and broke the outside smallbatten on the overdrive.... still not sure how.
Looking forward to easter hope theres some wind at stansbury :-)
