hoppybogan (25813km): Stansbury, SA, AU Beat that! The Alpha isn't legit' as it was done carrying the gear back to the rigging area. It was looking promising driving there but as i was rigging the wind was backing off and on the water it swung North to West which killed it. Still, 6 jelly beans for that effort is worth it. | ||||||||||||||||||
Tricky Bogan (21417km):
Hoppy must have been feeling a bit kinky this morming, into some S&M It started with a early morning call wake’ie wake’ie hand of snakie and procided to whip me into action with its 25 gusting to 30knts see you at the water by 9. I looked out & it was more like 12-15 here, by the time I had breakie it had built to a reasonable 20knts! I was beginning to wonder about Hoppy’s plan as the drizly rain was going to sting On the way down I planned to rig the 6.3 on the Isonic going with the gust & glory plan. Arrived to see Hoppy rigging his 6.6 & geeing me to ring the 7. I felt like Hoppy was realy going to set me up for a flogging. We hit the water & nadda zip poof Nothing. We floated out & I decided that heading back before we had to paddle was a good idea. Hoppy made it back in one tack, I took 3 & a walk of shame. Oh well was all good fun.
