Melville Beach, WA, AU

Great to have some wind, hoped I to crack 30kts but not quite.

RRD 80l board followed by 73L speed board which caused the wind to drop immediately so got out the 105L Rocket. 5.4 Koncept and various fins.

Lunny was showing the way, followed by Anita and Vincent

Fairly warm breeze for a wintery day. Best of it early on for me. First try of the Isonic 107, certainly a fast board, just need to fine tune the gybes. Not too may out early on but good number out later on.

Isonic 107, Reflex6 6.2, C3 stingII 36

Not great speeds but awesome fun! The best fun I have had in ages. The setup felt really balanced and smooth and comfy, but I think I was a bit underboarded for speed, especially later in the session.

I was held up at work and missed the sun and the best of the wind, but it was easily the best session I have had for months anyway. I would have liked to have kept going but eventually it got just too light for the lttle board, and it was a bit late in the day to change boards and go out again.

Good to catch up with a bunch of Pinnaroos (and others). I hope to see you again later in the weekend!

Melville Beach, WA, AU 96 Supercross, 5.5 Gator, 28 Tabou. Got down a bit late and as soon as I rigged up the wind dropped. Headed out on the rigged up kit anyway as the forecast was for the wind to strengthen. No great speeds but good fun trying a few little chop hops in the section with a few tiny ramps. Good to see the crew out having fun!

Vince, I think you got out at the same time as I did, so that graph is for you too.

You were going well out there today.

The other guys got their best speeds earlier.

David - very close to 30!

Lunny - top stuff as always!

Anita glad you had fun. Thanks for the graph. Does it read accurately for the conditions at the site?

Thanks Anita, it was good fun. I used to find it hard to hard to gybe that 96 Supercross but it is getting a lot easier. Yes we did get done up by the wind! Still, I'm pretty sure we all came of with a little smile on our faces :)

Nice session all round, Ben! Not bad for the first sail in a long time...

Congrats on the PBs, and thanks for making our score more respectable!
