Lang geleden dat ik nog eens naar de Schotsman ben gereden. Paar uurtjes cruisen op Veerse Meer was best leuk.

Nice slalom session with high water.

Did one run at the bank (3 hours after low tide), to show Geert were you can sail. All the other runs are in the chop.

Made 11 alpha's above 39km/u, most of them around the LP buoy in the middle of the Oosterschelde, really happy with that!

It's hard to see my performance compared to 2-3 years ago. I still felt OK last summer during my previous session, but today it didn't work as expected: alot of gybes ended up being wet, struggled to find the straps, Hard to find the correct position/trim.... But thats not so weird?  3 sessions in more then 2 years is off course not enough to keep up yr current perfo level.

Didn't go behind the inside dams, but went upwind instead to Eastern part of Hompelvoet. It was way too long ago, really needed some flat water feeling. It wasn't an ideal location (very short, gusty and you had to cross some chop coming from everywhere before starting your run). But in the end I enjoyed it, that's the most important. Just me, myself and a seal following me for 3 hours... :-)

Need to come more frequently...
