Lilacs, Albany, WA, AU

Switchblade 6.8, JP Slalom 66W + Pepe Tribal Weed 28

Got a call from Shane when I was near Collie on my way back from Mandurah, that there was enough wind for a sail. When I arrived it looked pretty much exactly like the conditions I wanted for the new (2nd hand) board. Tried to fit the Fangy alloy fin (many thanks for the lend Ross Smile) but it was just a fraction to wide, curse windsurfings hopeless industry standardisation Yell Yell Yell So went with the Tribal instead as the tide was good.

Super impressed with the new board, did exactly what I wanted from it. Kept on the plane through the lulls, gybed well (all that real estate under the feet feels different) & showed a good turn of speed. Very Laughing

Nice way to end the day, with a quick blast with Shane Smile

Nice Morts! New toy looking real nice in the numbers too! A 5x10 that is the same as your Nautical, very nice indeed. Now go and get the angle grinder out and 'trim that fin'!

Yep, don't worry about making the fin head to narrow, I can always build it up again.

The old metric versus imperial standard I guess. I made it to fit the chinook boxes, that are American imperial, the proper tuttle spec.

Woops, that's assuming you got the yellow one. The polished one Pepe did, and I assume his is proper tuttle as well
