East Bay, Osterville. Drove around a bit this morning looking for the right spot. West Dennis did not look attractive, so we ended up at East Bay. Did not look windy when we started, but had enough to plane on 7.8/117 and 6.0/99 (Nina). Good wind direction and water level made it a jibing paradise. Wind picked up after an hour but also brought the rain. That made it difficult to see the obstacles in the water, so we stopped soon after. Best part was that Nina finally had a great session in East Bay - one of my favorite spots, but she never had much luck there before.

East Bay, Osterville. Falcon 99, Matrix 6.0, BP SW 38. Glad I listened to Peter and sailed East Bay. With temperatures just above 10 C and rain in the forecast, I was heavily tempted to stay home. The sail was easy to jibe, but I was not fully powered until close to the end of the session. Happy about the alpha PB .

PD 128, LRB 8.6, CA 46.5cm to start with. Than switched to PD 115, LRB 8.6, F-HOT 39 cm and improved top speed by about 1 knot but all 10 sec. runs were better with 128 and 46cm fin. It was up and down gusty and choppy. Something like 8-20 kt wind, windtalker said it was 16 average. 

Happy to sail at Washoe Lake again
