Kurnell, NSW, AU 25-15kt SSW-SW || 118 Manta 6.0 Simmer 44 T-Lab

Started out strong and gusty, so even for Quibray a little choppy. It quickly settled though and spent most of the time in the 20-22kt range, so a good hour or so of fun. Gybing at either end of the run was in nice flat water.

Patrick 128, OD 8.6m   Well I thought we where going to get 25 knots.  Nope more like 15 knots with maybe a couple of 18 knots gusts.  Didn't really know many of the Central coast crew there except for Forthie.  Anyway good to get out on the water.  Canton Beach, NSW, AU

Great to see you blokes go out and have a go. Andrew sounds like he had the stronger breeze. Interesting choice of location. Have to try this out soon.

Forecasts have been lame again...

D. Yep. Loved the foil. Your going to have to get one 😎 Just think of it as another fin for the collection.

Wondered how such a an appendage would generate any lift in so little wind. But it does.

Tried a couple of different sails but needed the 7m TRXI with some pumping to get up on about 8 knots for my 73kg dry weight. Could have gone 8.4 but wasn't keen on recovering from all the learners stacks with that thing.

Welcome back Nigel!

Look forward to seeing you on the water and going for a blast on the bay.

Just need some decent breeze to materialize.

Good stuff. I'd be interested to see the foil in action Barks. I really hope to get out on the water soon. I checked out some vans last weekend for sale up here. A Toyota Town Ace, I think that what it is, caught my eye. Its roughly 2.5m long in the back so it would be long enough and the price was right.
