I had allready left work when I got word form captain quick that Franga had called it off and was taking him and firie blouse shoping with him and would I like to come with them. As tempting as it was I pulled out of Macas on the freeway and continued on to boombas. Good move, it was blowing about 15-18. After a little bit of debating how sensible this was as I was by myself I decided to rig conservatively with the go to kit. With health and safety at the forefront of my mind I put a thick rubber on to keep my bits warm should I have a long walk back. I spent most of the time in the bay in front of where we park, every time i went past the point to the next bay in search of flater water the wind droped off so I gave up on that. Anyway just after 4 the wind shut down but I had had my fix and wanted to save a bit for tomorrow.

It was quite spooky de riging in such a remote spot as the sun was geting low in the sky. Im sure I heard Dueling banjos close by, or was it greensleeves.

Glad you enjoyed your lonely sail. After I called you I noticed the wind coming up, but couldn't raise the enthusiasm to do anything about it.

Hopefully I'll be able to join you tomorrow arvo.

I did a late after work sail with my Pink combine harvester at Cobblers.

The wind dropped below 3 knots, a 5.8 wave sail just wasn't cutting it.

Cobblers needs a higher tide for thew foil as it felt like I was wading out to the platform

Banjos and butt clenching, too funny, glad you got out Swindy. I did notice wind pick up but as said I had to go blouse shopping, trouble is my bra size has increased since the cold set in, so I find myself looking at my boards thinking, I must, I must, I must not increase my bust Yell

Yay Joe, enjoy the tropics mate Cool

Nice one Roger Smile I've sailed Boombas once & it does feel pretty remote, the sort of place you might see a Bottersnike when you drive in.

Have a great time over there Hardie! Cool

It doesn't matter about the bust size Bob, in that little rubber of yours shrinkage will compensate.

I should have gone back there this morning but I didn't want to get caught out in the westerly change that didn't happen till late.
