Carlisle St, Safety Bay, WA, AU. Formula 186, Overdrive 7.5 I bought a formula board last week with the intention of putting a foil on it in the future so like a kid with a new toy i just had to give it a go. Kinda different to anything i have sailed before and good fun going at really wierd angles to the wind.

Strong wind warning for today and the forecast was correct got down to Novara to find wind 13-15knots with one rogue destructive gust to 17.5 knots.

The pink bits were calling out for me to play with them so a tablespoon of cement went down and i rigged up expecting a spanking.

After all the rain, the water today was the colour and transparency of a block of Cadbury gold which made it interesting with a low tide to figure the depth which was generally judged by bumping the foil into things.

Only got a few runs in with a bit of air time and a few dismounts, one good one which gave Stroppo a bit of a chuckle.

Bloody cold out there so it was short session which I was glad of as the wind did a total runner as I hit the shore.

Good to chat with the Stropp who has got his own pink bits now as well, gunna be lots of people gliding past as I make Elmo sized dents in the water.

On a positive note, I think I've tamed the Banshee, Stuck some of the WSP SUP rail tape down the trailing edge and all you can hear now is me squeeling like a biatch just before I dent the water.

Good times
