2344 days ago 2 categories Light wind cruisey session, with Fangy, Slugger, Morts and Bono.
Used the 6.6, 53 and filleted 21 @ 55d. Worked when I was powered up, but spent a lot of time underpowered.
Plenty of weedy goodness to be had.
Slugger found an alpha spot at the top end, there's a channel all the way through the weed bank, abot 30m wide and about 400m long. The angle was slightly wrong today, slight downwind run in, upwind going out, made accelerating out of the gybe tricky, as wind was light, and it was weedy downwind.
The wind seemed much stronger over the weed, but in bands. Picking the best wind to gybe in wasn't easy. A few times I thought I had plenty going into the gybe, but didn't have enough coming out.
Look forward to playing in there in better conditions

Not as much wind as yesterday but still had a very enjoyable cruise with Ross, Mike & Simon. No coffee or ice creams but the beer was an excellent substitute, thanks Simon! Really happy with the FF24

2344 days ago Fangyland for a cruise with Morts,Sludge,Bono, Cap'n Calm, a few stingrays, a pod of dolphins and no crab bites. Went for a splash on the Party Barge, FF24 and Koncept 7.5 combo. Not a lot of wind, but a nice session all the same, with a couple of squirts on the old Barge to keep things fun. A nice social sess and thanks to Sludge for the post-sail beer o'clock.
Hopefully Huey will deliver tomorrow, because there a few nice little runs between the weed banks that would be brilliant with a bit more breeze. Not complaining though, defo a Top Ten Fangy Day.

Mobbers on tour.
After our disasterous day of whimping out and gear faiiure yesterday we were too embarrased to turn up to the slalom racing at Leeman today, so with our tails between our legs we hi tailed it out of town and headed to Cerventes. Got there to find all the Safety bay crew there on their anual sobatical. They had been having a great time all week and luckily had saved some goodness for us. We all headed out for what turned out to be a fantastic session in the lovely clear blue waters. Stretch was out to impress me with his wave skills and launched into a n impresive forward loop narrowly missing me with his mast and Ratz decided to see what happens when you try and sail with your front foot waving arround in the air in chop and swell. Then it was my turn to stack but I didnt. great day made up for the disapointment of yesterday.

2344 days ago Screaming Leeman day 2, Patrick 92, Warp 6.3
20 min figure of 8 race followed by some fun team racing. Didnt discrace myself and started to get used to the chop by the end of the day but man my forearms hurt. Some serious wind in Leeman this weekend and by the end of the racing I was well overpowered on the 6.3.

2344 days ago Cervantes, WA, AU. CA52/GPS6.0/CHoco WS28. Terrific sail at Cervantes in crystal blue waters, a great way to finish the Leeman weekend. Water was still a bit rough and I managed to go splat in a big way right in front of Swindy. Damn, I cant get out of that one... To add insult to injury, Roger reckons we should add a GPSTC category for max. deceleration. You're a cruel man Rog!!
Great day sailing with Dave (one more knot), Ratz, Adam and Swindy
