6.2 R7; X-F 98; DWS 25...Melville... after work

Well that was an entirely crap session for me...only 1 very short powered run off the wind.....on the next run, I ended up in the shallows with no wind, fin bottoming on barnacles and or sharp rocks, then sliced my foot on said sharp items on the bottom when I jumped off the board. Tried a few runs after but the section of skin removed was right on the ball of my foot and bloody painful every time I went into the straps...GRRR!!! It's amazing how rough foot pads on the board are.

Anyway, great to see young Taj get a PB...fantastic effort!!!

Reflex 8 7.0, Mistral 112, Speedweed 31, (thanks Chris for the loan- I want one!). A great sail over the bank, high up in the bay which is my new favourite place in the world. That said, it was a real challenge to get any speed as the wind was patchy, (as normal). I had a little break about half way through the session, "necked" a couple of beers with the boys then headed out again- went faster....., much faster and managed to hold onto the rig at the end of a speed run when things got a little out of control, (to say the least). If I was sobber, I would have crashed!

Congrats to Taj on another PB- nice one mate! Keep it up and I might buy you a Isonic 87, (so you can clock 35+)
