Great to be back at The Pit with it firing Laughing

Finaly met Brad and great to see some more Pbs in his boxes.

Hard to go fast today with the wind feeling like it was a bit square but there was heaps of it. The short window with the tide was our main issue so it never was going to be a long session. Plus none of us are realy match fit for sailing Tongue out

Wild day at the pit. Great to catch up with some of the Pit Crew who I hadn't seen in ages.

I think my GPS might need recalibrating...it seems to read about 5 knots too slow....

Mallacoota, VIC, AU Had fun at GWS with Isacc, very strong gusts of up to 40+ knts. Isacc showed me how to sail a Nautical mile in those conditions which was very entertaining. Grass to rig on and enough flat water to have some fun.

Pit, been awhile, rigged my smallest sail 6.3 Ka.race on the 112L, 27WdSpd, was honking so kept us on my toes. Blew out the cobwebs a bit but thats all.  Long runs to be had pity tide not lower, was a bit on the square side, got my peak sending it off away from yhe bank for our passing crew member John R'.    Short sesh with the tide and sail fitness off,  good to catch up with some of the crew  and see the Pit sand blown conditions.

Brad, you must be my dopulganger... I got a 39.7 2s with peak of 40.0 yesterday too. Seems like sandy point might still ‘work’... I’ve heard the sandbars are getting quite high now.
