Awesome session, wind was dropping whilst I chatting to all and sundry who dropped by whilst I was rigging, including The Craw whom we haven't seen for a while but is emigrating down to Mandurakastan or nearby realms (Madora bay).
The wind seemed to have faded to such amount that I almost conteplated derigging, but thought what the heck give it a go.
Once out in deep enough water, got up and low and behold there was enough to get going, not fast but nice and cruisy. On te way back it started picking up.
Next run I had more than enough, coulkd've done with the 5.8 and still have plenty of get up and went. still somehow the planets alligned rather than colliding and I managed to get it all dialed in.
Was great fun doing runs with Gav on his kite foil, who was just cruising along as casual as can be, just making it look effortless.
Eventually the mornings pruning caught up with me, but not before my face was aching from the smile on the dial.
Best session ever.
