2629 days ago It was fairly quiet on the patch today. Party Barge, SimmerSCR 7.8, FF24. Huey didn’t really turn up, but there was stacks of wildlife around. I stopped next to a pod of dolphins as they were herding mullet near the river mouth, watched an osprey catch a decent fish right in front of me and cruised over the top of a couple of stingrays. However I didn’t see any sign of my GW-52, despite a couple of romantic walks along the foreshore with Frank when the tide was low. As an interim GPS, I brought the Canmore out of retirement, which will hopefully hang in there until my Motion arrives ( and becomes an approved device).
The water was warm and crystal clear, the sky cloudless and pretty much a perfect day for a cruise. Possibly even a Top Ten Fangy day :-)
