Windfoil, Foilville

I was having a great time in perfect 12-14kn winds. Then that noise that most foilers are familiar with.....THE SLURP!

For those that dont know its the noise the wings make when they lose contact with the water, because you get a little too much height, then with very little of the wing left in the water you get a slurp sound which usually ends in a nosedive, breach or awesome freestyle maneuver.

This time for me it was a nosedive and unfortunately the boom lived up to its name and went boom....or maybe crack.

Luckily no injury except for a snapped boom so it was an expensive 19km

Ahh well i still love it

Not enough wind but I just wanted to try out the new sails. Saw Lunny whizzing past but missed the nosedive! Good to hear you were not injured.

slurp is a good way to describe it. Laughing
