Nice session of SW wind. Just nice on the IS87 with 5.7m Koncept. Tried a few runs on the CA40 with 5.2m but underpowered. Did a couple of runs with the 5.7m on the CA40 and was more powered but not the sweet spot sail for that board. Too much weight on the mast foot for optimum speed when not fully lit, but I think I did the best run on that combo.
First hour I could sail straight back up the speed bank so true SW wind. Then it shifted WSW and could still sail back but had to gybe furhter up and run back to the bank, Faster speed run angle like that though.
IS87, CA40, KA Koncept Speed 2019 5.2m and 5.7m. Tribal 25WS and 18cm Speed. Posted from GW52#1,

Marlo, VIC, AU Got a bit excited when i saw a 35.66knt and now a 34.86. I guess i will have to wait for that elusive 35knts. Marlo has a heap of potential, the wind needed to come around another 5 or 10 degrees today to be really good. At this stage this will be our go to spot with areas here that have not been explored with loads of potential. Borrowed a pair of board shorts off Isacc and a wetsuit vest, bloody good bloke packing extra stuff for me.
