JP slalom 71, Pepe weed 27cm, NP RSR E6 7.8m

Started my holidays (in theory) at lunch today, got down to Liptons on a fading wind and a lower tide  (hence the 27cm) and had a ball!

Bit nerve racking crossing the chanel with all the knob jockies in their stickers made all the more interesting with the constistant hole in the breeze everytime you crossed it.

Whole lotta fun, only one underdone bare away.

Liptons, Point Grey was best again, initially sailed a pepeweed 26/48 as I'd lent out the pepefoil delta 21.5, but I was 3 kts faster on the pepefoil delta when I got it back, though the wind had picked up a touch, but I could just sail further into the shallows and the glassy patches with laminer flow winds.  RRD 101/65 TR9 7.0m PepeFoil Delta 21.5cm varaible rake.

Wind lighter than yesterday, and big board's in the repair bay, after yesterdays argument, with the sail zipper toggle.

So used the 53cm board with the 20cm@55d fangyised deltoid, and of course the new 6.6 koncept.

Should have used this combo yesterday, it would have been faster and more comfortable.

Stayed at Pt Grey, and this time was more disciplined pulled out before it got too shallow. Really enjoyed the smooooth, great bearing away, then going into a big carve gybe.

No good numbers, but lots of fun, AND THE BACK feels great! Sailing seems to do it good. Not crashing today, probably helped.

Still not comfortable driving though, unless I pad the lumber area with a towel or something. So I'll probably stick to Liptons, unless somewhere else is radically better.

The winch, bare feet and Dots gardening stool make all the difference.
