7.5m GT Turbo- RS4 ( 111ltres) - 43cm makani weedy

 Mental health day..Wink

1st sail since my rib injury 5 weeks and 2 days ago..( not that I've been counting..Innocent )

I still can't sleep on that side so I was ready to pack up if there was any pain. It went well although I sailed in poo stance at times to help protect it. Laughing

Great to be back on the water. I got a good puff as I took off and there were several YEEHAAs!

I was buggered after 9kms and came in after 50mins thinking I should quit before I aggravated anything. The wind was building and I was tempted out for one more run but I was fully powered on that kit and decided to play it safe and finish.

Pity as  it would have been great on the 85ltre WT.

I used the weedy as there was talk of some nasty big floating weed balls that were causing grief for the foilers. I just missed one.

There wasn't much other weed and I was thinking I could have used a pointer but Gert went out on one  and had 2 bad catapults . Not sure if it was weed or a big fish but I'm glad I didn't hit anything. It wouldn't have ended well with the ribs. Surprised

I was surprised that the GW60 worked after that amount of time off...I can't get it to connect though..grr

Andrew , Greg , Tony on his new foil and Gert.
