Pleasant Bay, Cape Cod. Big mistake not to go to Duxbury as planned because the wind meter readings were low when we left, and because Nina had the rare opportunity to be on the water with another winger. I chose to foil since it was quite gusty, followed the others 2.4 km upwind, and only then discovered that the Skate 110 was a lot harder to foil downwind than my usual zombie board in the overpowered conditions. Touchdowns on the zombie are totally harmless, but downwind touchdowns on the Skate meant immediate crashes. It did not help that I had the foil in the same position in the tracks as on the zombie - that put it too far forward on the Skate, pushing the nose in too much when touching down.

Duxbury Bay, MA. 7.6/107/38, underpowered first then nice. Too much north for speed.

Duxbury MA USA, NorthEasterly 15 to 30. Severne 7.0 turbo with two cams. 2005 Staboard Carve 120 with 39" weed fin. No weeds observed, should have used slalom fin.  Top speeds were in ~30mph gusts.
