Good day with wind up over 20 for most of the session. A bit lumpy for the big so so went in for small stuff but went too small then the tide did that vanishing thing. Good day out with Troy and Gordon.

CarbonArt 112 and tribal 40 with Simmer 2XC 6.5, then Naish SP95 and Koyote 5.3.

Good sail but very light, good to sail Burrum again with Peter and Paul.

It was a choice of either full survival mode on the coast or enjoy something a little more sedate up on the dam, so off up the mountain we trotted to meet Ian. Good breeze on arrival, Ian was already taking advantage of the last of the mornings decent breeze. B2 cracked one of the last down winders when he hit the water and I'm pretty sure he has taken the 2sec honours up there today.

Super happy with my effort on the water. Landed all my jibes bar 2. 36some thing K's with what felt like a hundred jibes - really no breeze either side of the channel. Water temp was icy compared to the coast and with the wind chill, it proved to be quite a cool afternoon.

Used: WT72, 9.4 ODM2, 475 BPR.

Paired the 80l F2SX with the 7 Koncept and my new 25 TWS. Couldn't really get comfortable but enjoyed the session. The wind didn't live up to expectations until I was home with my feet up, it,s rattling the windows at the moment.

Last Winter sail. Went thinking it would be a longboard sail and rigged 7.8 then wind looked ok and went out on XFire 122 with 44 elk. Some good runs.

Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU  Fun sesh with B1 & Ian who both sailed very nicely indeed in the conditions.

Typical on/off wind on the dam.  Managed to catch a few wind patches coming through the channel, but mostly nothing either side of it.  Felt a bit clumsy on the board today mistiming a lot of gybes, but finally got my act together to some degree...  Perhaps I just needed warming up as the wind chill & water temp was a bit of a shock to the system...  Lots of short runs, so can't really blame lack of practice in regards to the u turns...

All being said, still nice to get out on the water in a very picturesque location.  Well worth rigging up for.

Might see what tomorrow brings back off the beach...

Used the Jag 125, Severne 8.6 M2 & Choco 41

7.8/114 First time sailing Northern run. Wind was just a little too light but still a very nice day out in the clear water with Pete and Geoff. Really enjoyed spotting that Dugong a few times.

Due to my own stupidity, Phil smashed me with his speeds. Discovered that 1D 10 T error is the cause of not being able to upload to KA72 these last few sessions. Anyways, ripper morning session, starting in the waves a bit underdone with 6.5 Ezzy and 113 Fanatic FSW. Then it was as if somebody flicked a switch and turned on another 5 knts. Cranked the 6.5 down and perservered with the big board in order to milk as many jumps as possible before the tide shut the waves down. Then changed down to CA SL58 and Tribal WS25. Managed some powered up speed runs between the wavelines and maxed out at 32kNts on the dial. Finally called it quits when the water disappeared out to sea. Winds 15-20kNt then 20-25kNt. No post unfortunately, would have had some good numbers in there.
